Noise and Silence (Schweigen)
The Israeli conductor Daniel Barenboim commits himself to a peaceful
agreement between Israel and Palestine.
By these words he refused the reproach of having provoked a scandal by
his speech in the Israeli parliament. He had asked whether the Jewish
people could permit themselves to be indifferent towards the rights and
suffers of the Palestine people.
