Qualcuno e nel Giardino
This composition tells the story of a man, who is looking for a woman
that is supposed to be in the parc. On eighteen different moments and
places he thinks to have found the woman. But always when he almost has
found her, she changes her identity. The texts come from Verdi operas,
but are arranged in a new way. The accordion plays the path of the man
through the parc, a mezzosopranin sings the text.
In general my compositions perform space - space in the sense of a
tonal interpretation of a spatial notation that has the form of a
graphic score. The score has been generated directly from all of the
ground plans of hypothetic and real environs. And - space in the sense of
a spatial arrangement, an installation of musicians and video
projections.
