Until the year 2020 perception will gain an enormous importance with
regard to communication. A general aestheticalization (Ästhetisierung)
will follow. Issues of truth will be outplayed easily by issues of
design.
An example for this process is the development of the radio. With
broadcasting the word is already today nearly totally pushed to the
edges. The word has been superseded by music, talking has been
superseded by formatted surfaces of music, and information by timbre.
Meaning disappears in sound.
